Supportive Cleaning is designed for clients who need more than a clean space — whether recovering from illness or surgery, adjusting after birth, managing burnout, or simply finding day-to-day tasks overwhelming
With 15 years’ experience in elder care, mental health support, neurodivergent support and childcare, I work with calm respect for each person’s pace and privacy. Every visit is grounded in practical cleaning expertise, infection-control standards, and help to make your space feel manageable again.

Get in touch to arrange a quote, we can meet in person, set up a live video call, or you can send a short video walkthrough of the space via Whatsapp. We’ll respond promptly to confirm details and provide an estimate based on your needs. We bring our own products and equipment. There is no call out charge for jobs within Edinburgh city, travel will be an additional charge for bookings outwith the city.

Price Range
Organise content, respectfully declutter, maintenance cleaning, help with a home project, digital declutter [google workspace / Microsoft 365] - £30 p/hr [2-4 hours]
With over a decade of hands-on experience maintaining one of Scotland’s highest-rated hostels, I bring practical expertise and scientific precision to every clean. My background in environmental science and NHS-level infection control ensures all work is done to professional hygiene standards, with careful attention to cross-contamination prevention and safe product use. For the past ten years, I’ve trained staff in Facility Hygiene and cleaning operative skills for deep cleans and hospitality changeovers to maintain high-traffic environments. The Clean Place applies that same standard of skill, efficiency, and professionalism to every project we take on. We have a cleaning system that maximises grime and biofilm removal using a combination of degreasing, detergents and steam treatment. The cleaning products we bring have no toxic residues and are pet and child safe
We keep things simple and transparent.
Quotes & Booking: You will get a clear written quote. A 50% deposit secures your job booking, with the balance due once the job’s complete
Cancellations: You can cancel up to 3 days before and get a full refund of your deposit. After that, deposits are non-refundable
Access: We need electricity, running water, and nearby parking. We don’t take bookings for flats above the 2nd floor without lift access in tenements
What’s Included: Professional cleaning products and equipment are provided. Carpet cleaning, outdoor areas, or small content removal can be added by agreement
Travel: No extra charge within Edinburgh city. Travel outside the city or overnight stays (for longer bereavement cleans) are discussed case by case
Insurance: We’re fully insured and follow NHS-level hygiene and cross-contamination standards and use products with no harmful residue
Refunds & Issues: If you have any issues, let us know within 48 hours. We’ll always try to make it right
